WHY OUR COSTS ARE SO LOW

KIWIS PAY TOO MUCH FOR NEW HOMES.

MATRIX IS HERE TO PUT THAT RIGHT.

Matrix began life with a simple belief - kiwis are paying too much for new housing. We wanted to put that right. We set out to deliver houses for as low a cost as possible without sacrificing any of the quality you'd expect in something as important and permanent as your home.

When you buy a car, the car company doesn't truck a ton of metal and plastic to your place and put it together it in the garage. A modern motor vehicle is a triumph of production engineering and quality control. Why shouldn't that happen in housing?

When a builder builds a house on-site in the normal way, all the windows are made up as one-offs. We design around standardised windows and we make phenomenal savings.

Assembling our floors and walls on pre-built jigs has virtually eliminated the almighty tape measure, the biggest single source of time and material wastage. Materials are pre-cut and perfected with each component optimised and identical.

Like all factories, we've got a roof. The Matrix workforce are on the job every day, rain or shine, working on your house in safe, dry, well-lit conditions. The hard decisions have all been made so no one has to wait for instructions from above. Perhaps it's fitting that our Upper Hutt location is at the old General Motors plant in Trentham where they once turned out Vauxhall Vivas and Chevettes.

For accurate costings, please contact a member of our sales team to assist you. We are working hard behind the scenes to provide an indicative costings chart in the future.
